ARTS BASED THERAPY (ABT)
ABT is the clinical and evidence-based use of art-forms (music, drama and visual arts) to accomplish individualized goals within a therapeutic relationship.ABT is primarily an art form, practiced scientifically, and based on the subtle energy theory. It is an extremely specialized alternative therapeutic technique, which is used for children with special needs.
This form of therapy is practiced in a structured format over the period of minimum three months to achieve significant results in the child.� The experience of healing via stories, drama, poetry, dance, music, paintings, clay and body movements bring the healing alive in a therapeutic room.� It is conducted both individually and in a group (depending on the needs of the child).
ABT CAN BE SUCCESSFULLY USED FOR THE FOLLOWING PROGRAMS:
